  • Dishwasher-safe, but better to wash in warm (not hot) sudsy water
  • Oldest American manufacturer of cutlery, founded in 1837
  • Guaranteed unconditionally for life

LamsonSharp 6-Inch Stainless Steel Slicer Overview

Designed for smaller hands, this 6-inch slicer's hand-honed beveled edge is used to cut thick or thin slices of poultry, ham, and beef, as well as for more precise tasks such as mincing garlic and quartering bok choy. The blade is taper ground for extra sharpness, and the tang extends all the way through the traditional rosewood handle, adding heft and balance. Although rosewood is dishwasher-safe, it is best to hand wash fine cutlery like this in warm, soapy water. Oil the handle occasionally with food-grade mineral oil to maintain the traditional luster. Sharpen the blade regularly with a steel to make slicing seem like sleight-of-hand. --Edward Skoog
